TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1.
Payment for purchases of hardware, software and services is to be
strictly within 7 days of receiving invoice. Decision1 IT Solutions
Ltd reserve the right to charge interest at the rate of 15% per
annum calculated daily and any collection fees on accounts not paid
by the due date. The charging of interest payments to an overdue
account does not indicate an extension of credit.
2. Ownership of any goods supplied to the client is retained
by Decision1 IT Solutions Ltd until full payment is received for
those goods.
Decision1 IT Solutions Ltd reserves the right to recover possession
of such goods which are not paid for, including entering the
premises where the goods are held, and holding them until the goods
are paid for in full or selling or otherwise disposing of them.
3. Decision1 IT Solutions Ltd guarantees for 3 months all work
completed by its delegated technicians against faults.
4. The goods and/or services supplied by Decision1 IT
Solutions Ltd are for business purposes only and as such do not come
under the Consumers Guarantees Act 1993.
5. Whilst all due care will be taken, Decision1 IT Solutions
Ltd does not accept liability for any loss or damage resulting from
the supply of goods or services to data or equipment. In respect to
loss and/or damage to data, it remains the sole responsibility of
the client to ensure that an adequate backup is prepared before the
commencement of any work by Decision1 IT Solutions Ltd.
6. Travel time, expenses and mileage may be charged where
travel is required beyond the city limits of the Dunedin area.
7. Freight costs may be charged for delivery from suppliers to
Decision1 IT Solutions Ltd’s office for set-up, and then to the
client's premises.
8. If delivery of goods by courier from Decision1 IT Solutions
Ltd’s office to the client’s premises is required by the client, the
client accepts that the risk in the goods supplied is passed to the
client when possession is passed to the courier. In other instances
risk passes to the client on delivery to the clients premises.
9. If a machine requires repair under warranty, the following
work is not covered: diagnosing the fault, re-installing software,
data transfer or restore, reconnecting printers or reconnecting to a
network. If any of these services are required to be undertaken by
Decsion1 they will be charged at the normal service rate. Note:
Where a machine is found to have a hard drive fault and is under
warranty, the machine will be returned to the client in a “factory
reset” state. This means that the machine will need to be setup
again as if it is a new machine. This is not covered under
warranty.
