Identify
Identification of the threats your organisation is most likely to encounter is the first step to continuity of services. Once each threat is identified, anticipating the circumstances that might accompany the disaster leads to understanding what actions are required to reduce the real-time impact. |

Prevent
Ideally, threats are prevented, and if preventable threats are identified, these should take centre stage for remediation. This could take the form of cyber-security solutions, threat detection solutions, user protection solutions, and user training. |

Plan for Continuity
Once threats are identified, the action to allow real-time continuity should become apparent. This might take the form of internal backups, hardware redundancy, work-from-home solutions, cloud solutions, or fail-over solutions. |

Prepare for Recovery
Under the worst circumstances, you may also be facing a disaster that can only be partially solved with a continuity plan. In these situations a recovery solution may also be appropriate, so that business processes can re-start as quickly as possible. This might look like cloud backups, cyber security solutions, |
